Body and Soil

Over the course of time, the body evolves into a landscape.

An  island becomes a woman as experienced by Robinson Crusoe in "Vendredi ou Les limbes du Pacifique" (Michel Tournier).

The skin of an eroded block of ashlar is like honey and breasts become a hillside in Land of Milk and Honey.

In Lost, the figure of a man leaves fossil-like traces in solid diabase.

Het lichaam is in de loop van de jaren uitgegroeid tot een landschap.

Een eiland  wordt tot vrouw, zoals Robinson Crusoe dat ervaart in “Vendredi ou Les Limbes du Pacifique”   (Michel Tournier).

De opperhuid van  een geerodeerde hardsteen uit de groeve wordt honing en borsten worden heuvels in “Land van melk en honing”.

In  “Lost” laat de afdruk van een man zijn sporen na in het harde diabas.
